Red White and Bluegrass Festival

The 2010 edition of The Red White and Bluegrass Festival will again host a Bluegrass Camp for Kids.  This will be the 6th year of the kids camp and it grows in number each year.  The camp will be held at the Collette Street Recreation Center in downtown Morganton on the first 3 days of the festival (July1st thru 3rd).

There is a $75 fee for attending.  Sessions begin about 9 each morning, then a break for lunch (included for participants) and then another 3 hours ending around 4 PM.  Download attendance form HERE.

There will be sessions covering fiddle, mandolin, guitar, banjo, bass along singing, playing together as a band, stage presence, etc.  On the final day of the camp, the kids involved will play a short set on stage at the festival, demonstrating what they have accomplished during the week.  They will also be presented with a festival tee shirt.
