The City of Morganton Parks and Recreation Department proudly presents the 2nd Annual Red, White and Bluegrass Festival to be held in Morganton, North Carolina July 1st, 3^rd and 4^th . The festival included a bluegrass camp for kids, 3 days of bluegrass music, tent sales of bluegrass instruments, music and other bluegrass related materials, food and drink sales, special July fourth Celebration of old-time activities and the largest fireworks show in Western North Carolina.

(North Carolina ::  Alcoholic beverages are Prohibited on Recreation Grounds.)

Schedule Of Events:  This is the set schedule for Bluegrass groups who are booked as of February 17, 2005  More groups will be added to show)

Tuesday, June 28 - July 1 - Bluegrass Camp for Kids (Collett St. Rec. Center) Call the Collett Street Recreation Center Office for  information and to register (828-438-5350)

Saturday, July 2  River stage  ; (Beside the catawba River Soccer Complex      ( Map )      110 GreenleeFord Rd.

10:00 am.- Pickin on the Greenway  - Take a leisurely walk around Morganton's beautiful Catawba River Greenway. and enjoy Bluegrass groups  playing along the trail. Bands will play from 10 am - 11:30 am and 1 pm until 2:30 pm.

3:00 pm--  Open Mike   (Groups/individuals will be allowed to take the stage.)

4:00 pm--   Firehawk
